Isola is record-keeping software. It records what your team agreed each contributor's share would be, what was posted for a period, and what has been paid. That is the whole of it.
Isola is not an accountant, a bookkeeper, or a financial adviser. Nothing it produces is financial advice, and no output should be treated as a professional opinion on your affairs.
Epic pays you. You pay your collaborators through your own bank. Isola writes down that it happened.
No funds pass through us at any point. We are not a payment service and are not authorised as one. If you are ever asked to send money to Isola for onward payment to anyone, that is not us.
Isola calculates accurately from the figures you give it. It has no way to know whether those figures are the right ones.
We will fix defects in the software. We cannot be responsible for a figure that was typed in wrongly.
Team owners can invite contributors, post figures, and change the plan. Contributors can always see and export their own statement of account.
Access to your own records is never withheld for non-payment. If a team's plan lapses, posting new figures pauses. Reading and exporting what is already recorded does not, on any plan, in any state. This is a commitment, not a current courtesy.
Plans are priced on the payout volume a team handles, averaged over the trailing twelve months, and not on how many contributors are on the team.
Prices are shown before you subscribe. We will give reasonable notice before changing them. You can cancel at any time; access to existing records continues as described above.
We aim to keep Isola available and will take reasonable care with backups, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment at this stage. Your records are exportable at any time and you should keep your own copies of anything you rely on.
You can close a team at any time. Before you do, export what you need — we will keep records for a reasonable period afterwards but not indefinitely.
We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully or that puts other users at risk. We will tell you why, and you will be able to export your records.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, because that cannot lawfully be limited.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for tax penalties, disputes between collaborators, or decisions made on figures you entered.
Isola is an independent tool. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Epic Games, and it does not connect to any Epic system. Figures are entered by you from your own Creator Portal.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
